“My name is Amber Favre. I am based out of Seattle (Woodinville, WA). I started painting after a near-death experience that not only left me unable to walk for several months, but also completely changed my outlook on life. I saw how our external worlds are shaped by our internal realities and it inspired me artistically. I am inspired by dream-like abstractions. I love incorporating heavy texture and abstraction into all of my paintings to create dimension, and mix all my colors from scratch, using a basic color palette to create harmony throughout the painting.”
