Matea is a contemporary artist specializing in acrylic on wood. She has embraced creativity throughout her life. Currently residing in Virginia, she originally hails from Serbia and also lived in Vancouver, Canada, before settling in the United States, where she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Matea has sold numerous pieces both nationally and internationally. She initially gained recognition for her original art pet portraits, which led to custom commissions and various collaborations. Her diverse background has profoundly influenced her artistic practice, motivating her to adopt a multi-dimensional approach that reflects a wide array of experiences and interests.
