You’re invited to a First Friday reception July 5th, 6-8 PM, at Broadway Gallery in Great Falls featuring Iraima Alonso’s new collection of monotype prints & collage. These works are inspired by songs played on repeat while creating each piece. Join us to view this collection with the accompanying soundtrack, and meet the artist that has brought the music to life.
Iraima Guedez Alonso is a new, self-taught artist, burst upon the scene during the beginning of the pandemic. Using art as a meditative exercise, she has experimented with different styles of expression, and has been inspired by the works of Claude Monet, Joan Miró, Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky, Georgia O’Keefe and Frida Kahlo. Investigating different types of mixed media, her vibrant creations are mainly supported through the use of acrylics that allow her to develop a spectacular array of blending light and colors that reflect an impressive range of landscapes, cityscapes, and imaginative designs.
This event is a continuation of our First Friday series hosted at our Great Falls location the First Friday of every month. Sign up for our mailing list to receive email notifications of upcoming events, sales, and more.
